sometimes the sheer self involvement of some people takes my breath away, and I include myself in that.
I have been submitting photographs to this site and another for about a month......with varying degrees of response and feedback............ I got up this morning to find that I have had not one "click" on a shot I submitted last night.........I can't describe how disappointed I was............... and then of course I did the whole, flicking through all uploads since mine and pointing out to myself which ones were soooooooo not worthy of the clicks they had recieved..............it's amazing how quickly a supposedly self assured, mature. confident human being can regress to infantile behaviour ( and thought processes,) in the space of minutes.........I mean, this is supposed to be my hobby....it's supposed to bring me pleasure and satisfaction..............not the kind of angst I experienced this morning........time for a rethink, methinks........
